James – Thank you for your email which summarises succinctly what we discussed yesterday. Both Christine and I found the meeting both informative and rewarding. For once we weren’t bamboozled by ‘financial-speak’ I was impressed by the way you took pains to see that we were keeping abreast of matters, some of which are, to the uninitiated like Christine and me, rather difficult to follow at times. I imagine you would be the same if I lapsed into ‘aviation speak’! I will forward a copy of my pension P60 when it arrives along with details of my state pension. In the meantime, I look forward to hearing from you soon. It is comforting to know that our money is in capable hands.
